“ The restaurant is a perfect compliment to its port city fishing culture. The chef is generous, as noted in other reviews. We two shared the "Oscar family boat mixed fish" plate, 22 euro. Earlier in day, we were touring the fisherman's dock, as shown. We saw many people enthusiastic about the catch. This created an interest in enjoying a fish meal, satisfied by the restaurant. The meal was so good, we offered to take the chef back to our home city and build the person a restaurant. However, after some consideration, we determined that we didn't have the sea, the schools or the net trawlers, so we cancelled the new restaurant. This, our first restaurant meal in Italy as North Americans, went smoothly. Credit cards were accepted at the cashier counter. Seating inside and outside was available. As a final note, our one plate arrived more quickly than the six or ten plates of a nearby table of several families that had ordered before we arrived. Myself a cook that serves large parties, this was as expected. ”

“ It’s not that hard to find good restaurants in Civitavecchia. I recommend that you avoid the beach front ones. I posted a review on one already that I don’t recommend. This one is very spacious but what it has in beauty it lacks in service. I don’t know if the woman who got our order was the manager but she totally ignored us. We had to ask several times and the food took a disrespectful amount of time to come. The waitresses were nice though. A group of 15 with large orders in a very expensive restaurant should be treated better. I like to think that the person was having a bad day. I try to empathize but she made it hard for me to understand her. Maybe they don’t like large groups but why did they accept our reservation? They have 2 small restrooms and outdoor seating. Food portions were good for sharing (which we only discovered after they arrived ) and the taste was really good! ”
